Frequently Asked Questions

What kind of animals do you treat?

Dr. Bradshaw can perform animal chiropractic on ANY animal that contains vertebrae. For example, she treats birds, dogs, cats, lizards, snakes, horses, etc. Just ask our front desk for more information!

Will I see immediate results after the first visit?

Not all the time; it depends on your pet’s case. For instance, after regular chiropractic checks, your pet will absolutely notice an increase in range of motion. However, for the full treatment, we do notice about 1-2 days after the treatment is the full effect.

How does animal chiropractic work?

There is not much difference between animal chiropractors and human chiropractors, other than the fur and size of their bones. Anything we do to humans we can do the same for animals. Dr. Bradshaw makes chiropractic adjustments to your pet as needed as well as works their soft tissue muscles to keep the playing from day to day without any pain!

How does Nutrition Response Testing (NRT) work on my pet?

Dr. Bradshaw uses a technique that allows her to test your pet’s organs to see which ones are operating optimally and which ones are not. For the ones not operating optimally Dr. Bradshaw can tell you which wholefood supplements your pet will need to help get his/her organs back to working the way they should.

How many treatments are recommended for my pet?

Your pet’s first visit is a full head-to-toe exam where Dr. Bradshaw will check for range of motion, and any panniculus reflexes (pain response) down the spine of your pet with an overall check-up at the end. Every pet responds differently to treatment.

Are there any payment plans available?

Yes, Agape Health believes that your pet deserves to get the medical care that they need without the stress of breaking the bank. We offer payment plans for those who have financial difficulties that hold you back from bringing your pet in. Ask our front desk for more information.

How much does animal chiropractic cost?

The initial exam is $145. Treatments after the first exam are $90.

How long will it take for animal chiropractic care to take effect?

Like human patients, an animal’s response to treatment may vary depending on a couple of factors; age, chronicity, acuity, general overall health condition, etc.

Why does my dog’s skin flinch when I pet him/her on the back?

Skin flinching is what we call a panniculus reflex which is a pain response animals have since they can’t rub the area of pain like we do when we stub our toe or bump our shins.

The breed of dog I have is known for its hip dysplasia but I can tell he/she is in pain, what can I do?

Dr. Bradshaw’s dog chiropractic techniques and tools that she uses enhance their quality of life even if it is a common issue in that breed she can make that issue less painful.

What is Animal Chiropractic?

Care from an Animal Chiropractor in Las Vegas, like other forms of healthcare, involves an evaluation including case history consisting of information from the owner, information from prior veterinary radiographs or laboratory analysis, and information involving previous diagnosis and therapies.

Whether we’re treating a dog or a cat, cn examination includes the following: posture analysis, gait analysis, vertebral and extremity static and motion palpation, orthopedic evaluation, and neurological evaluation.

After the above information has been reviewed the Animal Chiropractor will make adjustments where indicated and prescribe rehabilitation and therapeutic exercises.
